My Great Grandmother emigrated to America on the Carmania (Ellis Island Records) in 1908 Leaving from Liverpool and landing on september 24th. Her name was Florence Ridsdale from Bradford West Yorkshire England, aged 18 years. I can't find any details of where she went in USA or who paid her fare. When i click on the ship's manifest the ship is called the Carmania, but when i click to find her details i am taken to the records for the Carpania. I have tried looking through both sets of records but can't find her details at all. My computer also keeps crashing when i'm on the Ellis Island site so it's very frustrating. Any help you can give would be great.
