Hi Larry:
I had a family of ancestors that left LeHavre on the Brig "Index" in 1832 and arrived in New York on 6-11-1832. They were of German origin. This is the only info I have been able to find so far. You mentioned a list showing where in Germany passengers were from, can you give me info on that book. I had planned to send for manifest info but don't know if it would be worth it, what do you think?
