My Great Grandfather Clarence Larue Emery b.12Dec1849 near Morrison,Whiteside Co.,Il, homesteaded in Grant Township, Jewell Co. Ks. (near Formosa)in 1872. Married Blanche Lisetta Ellsworth b.1May1857 near Cedar Rapids,Iowa.
Seven children were born of this union, Inez, Francis,Willard Larue (my grandfather) Mercy,Lelia, Roberta and Clarence Parker.
