In 1756 Ann EMORY signed as next of kin on the estate of John JARMAN in Queen Anne's Co., Maryland. John JARMAN (or GERMAN) was probably born in the late 1670s and until about 1729 lived across the Bay in Calvert Co., Maryland. His brother had a g-grndson name Emory JARMAN born 1763 in Queen Anne's Co. What is the connection between the JARMANs and the EMORYs???
