Samuel EMERY - father, Nancy Jane Wesley - mother
Son Wesley b. 7/18/1829 in York, Genesee County, NY d. 3/19/1916 in Lansing, Ingham Co, MI. Siblings: Robert J, Betsey, Lydia, Samuel, Nancy, John, Hannah, Charles, Sarah, William and one more female. They resided in Orleans Co, NY for many years. Some siblings may have moved to MI with Wesley.
Wesley had 4 wives: 1)Adelia Gibson 1851 Orleans Co, NY; Laura E. Gibson abt. 1853; 3)Addie J. Delano m. 7/1865-Lansing, MI; 4)Sarah E. VanDervoort, MI m. after 1/20/1870.
Son from Laura Gibson: Archibald Martelle Emery b. 1861 - raised by other wife.
There is mention in Wesley's memoirs of a daughter (may be a daughter in law) Ora G. Emery - no other info.
I'm attempting to find more on Wesley's parents. Notes said Samuel and Nancy Jane married near Utica. Without some more concrete information I cannot go back another generation.
