Dear Atlas,

My great-grandfather Alben Franklin Emery was William Harrison Emery's older brother. Also, if I remember the story correctly, your great-grandfather Berkeley Brandt was best man at my grandparents' wedding.

What sort of information are you looking for? I know some about "our" Emerys but almost nothing about Grace Emery's maternal side. According to information available at the Elmhurst (IL) Historical Society, Grace Emery's mother was Mary Adelia Tobey, daughter of Samuel Tobey and Nancy Holick. I do not know if Mary Adelia Tobey came from the same Tobey family as Alben and William Emery's mother (Betsey Ellis Tobey).
