Saw a family Bible on ebay.... listing expires today, but it did have some info in it that the seller posted. It wouldn't be hard copy but it might help you narrow down a marriage date. Here is the info the seller included:
Written on inside front cover: This was the family bible of Moses and Ruth Emery of Minot Maine. Parents of Stephen Emery their youngest child who was the father of Stephen A. his youngest child who, with Lydia Arabelle Lord were parents of Moritz Hauptmann Emery their youngest son, who having had no children bequeathes this to Sidney Sheppard Emery the next to the youngest son. The marriage record: Moses Emery to Ruth Boolwell, Minot, Maine. Stephen Emery to Sarah Stowell, Paris, Maine January 15, 1815. Stephen Emery to Jennett Loring February 7, 1825. Stephen Albert Emery to Lydia Arabella Lord October 24, 1867. Moritz Hauptmann Emery to Margaret Weaving (no issue). Sidney Sheppard Emery to Anna Payne Butler December 16, 1896.
The seller was exp1230 <http://myworld.ebay.com/exp1230/> and item number: 130191272002 if you want to try to track this down. What a shame these people don't try to locate descendents on a family board, and just make a few bucks on Ebay. >:-(
