My great grandfather married a woman named Helene Emery born app. I have no other info at this time. She married Nicholas Chauvin. I believe she was his second wife and may have been somewhat younger than he. The story I have is that he had been previously married and his wife died, so he married Helene who was the daughter of a neighbour. It is likely that they were from Staples Ontario or somewhere in the Essex County area near there.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? I would love to have more info. I do have the names of most of their children.
