According to Rufus Emery's book "Genealogical Records of Descendants of John and Anthony Emery of Newbury, Mass." written in 1890,
1. Anthony had 3 children:

A son, name unknown The book says "It is probable that the name of this son was Anthony" In a quit claim deed dated 1700, James is noted as the only surviving son of Anthony Emery (Sr.).

3. James, b. circa 1658 - this is probably the James of your query as it says he married Dec 18, 1685, Margaret Hitchcock. He made his will Dec. 28, 1724. In his will he mentions his wife Elizabeth, who was probably his second wife. He had 9 children who are listed in this book:
