I am searching for ancestors of Elizabeth EMERY (on some documents Henley) b. abt 1849 in England. She married George Henry HUMPHREY b. abt 1843. Family stories say that they were from Lancashire, but I have found no evidence of that to date. I did find a record on BMD of a marriage between a George HUMPHREYS and an Emily EMERY married 24 Oct 1874 at Saint Luke, Chelsea, London, Eng. I am thinking that Emily may have been my Elizabeth's first name, but no proof. This is the closest I have come.
Does anyone have any connections to these two from Chelsea?
