I am a descendant of John Hembree, b. 1775 Spartanburg, SC, and Mary Laws, b. 1780 NC. Their children:

John Hembree, b. 1809, is my great great grandfather. It is unknown who his wife was who mothered most of his children, but I did find him married to Olivy in the 1850 Knox Co., KY census, but they were married less than a year. John's children:
