My bet is there are two Elijah's also. As Elijah was the youngest son of Susan Emily as per the 1850 census. My problem with the 1843 date is that I think the father John m. Cely Ann Jones 1842 unless there is ANOTHER John in Henry Co that we are not identifying also. What a puzzle -huh. ON top of that I can't find Permelia Markham anywhere although I'm sure she must come or be related through William Markham whose farm bordered them and who married Lucinda Emery Burris (Burress). The funny thing about that is my mom is a Burris/Buress from Christian Co KY not very far from Paris TN.
