Looking for information on Andrew Eli Emery who is listed on the 1870 and 1880 censuses for Fort Scott, Bourbon County, Kansas, in the household of his father, Cyrus Emery. Specifically, he fathered a son, Fred Vian Emery, born July, 1892, to Ella Myrtle Baker in Uniontown, Bourbon County, Kansas. I want to learn if a marriage ever took place between Ella and Andrew, since Fred never knew his father. I would assume if a marriage took place, it would have been in Bourbon County, though it may have taken place in Barton County, Missouri, and would have been sometime between 1890 and 1892. I am told that Andrew subsequently married a Mrs. Cora Codee and that he died in Grand View, Missouri. Any help regarding a marriage between Ella Baker and Andrew Emery will be appreciated.
