I read your posts with interest ... my mother 's maiden name was Emery and according to her recollection, her Uncles (Bert and Will) were born in England and emmigrated to the US in the mid 1800's and her father, Alonzo V. Emery, was born in the US (1867). They do not seem to be connected to the Emery's that appear in all of the other posts on this forum whose emmigration date back to the 1700's ... If these names sound familiar, please e-mail me or leave a post. Thanks for any help you may be able to give ..I'm sorry I can not offer more in the way of a location of their birth other than the UK ... I know it is a pretty big area!!
