Greetings from a Mary Emeline Emery-Lumpkin descendant. As you know, Mary Emeline Emery married Robert Lumpkin and had two known daughters; 1) Mary Elizabeth Lumpkin and 2) Emeline Emery Lumpkin. Emeline Emery Lumpkin b. 5 Mar1842 d.4 Mar 1924 and is buried in the Beech Springs Cemetery. Mary Elizabeth Lumpkin, my greatgrandmother married Isaac Cate and had four daughters 1) Grace - married a Wilhite and had four children 2) Maggie - married Edward Hancock and had six children, then married a Underwood 3) Dora - married John Devereau and had two children 4) Ida Velma, my grandmother, married Walter Drinnen Laugherty and had five children A) Jack Drinnen B) Emma Haskins C) Hubert Sanford D) Ray Allen and E) Thomas Carl with #c-Hubert Laugherty being my father.
