I have a letter written to my grandfather by an Elwood A. Emery in April of 1932 the inside address is Chicago, Illinois. It requests information on the Sawyer surname. I have a Henry and Hannah Stevens Sawyer in my family tree. We believe one of their daughters, Matilda, was my gggrandfathers 1st wife and mother of Edmond Schooley. My Sawyers and Stevens lived in Tompkins Co., New York. If you find you are connected to this line please contact. I don't know if Elwood Emery was a genealogist working on someone's family tree or if he was working on his own and somehow Emery's and Sawyers and Stevens are connected. Thanks
