My g grandfather, William E. Emery/Hembree born1845 in Oconee Co. Seneca, SC parents: Edward & Elizabeth. He was oldest of nine children. I wonder if John & William could be brothers. At age of 17 he went to serve with Co.C. 2nd SC Rifles,Longstreets Core, Palmento sharp Shooters. looking for siblings.
