I have the following information which I gather agrees with yours; if not please correct me.
John Emery, Sr. born Sept. 29, 1598 at Romsey, Hampshire, England, who emigrated to Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1635, married first at Wiltshire, England Alice Grantham. She came to Newbury with him as did their son John, Jr. born 1628 and their daughter Ann born 1631. Their third child Ebenezer, a daughter, was born at Newbury, Mass on Sept. 16, 1648. Alice (Grantham) Emery died at Newbury, Mass April, 1649. John Emery, Sr. then married second Mary Shatswell who was the widow of John Webster of Ipswich, Mass. They had one child, a son Jonathan Emery, born at Newbury May 13, 1652. Jonathan married Mary Woodman, daughter of Mr. Edward Woodman of Newbury, (they are my g(etc.) grandparents).
John Emery, Jr., son of John Emery, Sr. and his first wife Alice (Grantham) Emery, married Mary Webster, daughter of John Webster and Mary (Shatswell) Webster.
John Emery, Sr's father was John Emery of Romsey, Hampshire, England and his mother was Agnes (Northend) Emery. His paternal grandparents were Richard and Ellen (Bunting) Emery of Romsey.
