Looking for children orphaned in 1892 in Kansas.
Clyde Bartlett HOOD b. 28 Sep 1879, Kansas
Frank Emery HOOD b. 16 Aug 1883, Kansas
Annie Hood b. 18 Mar 1887, Madison Co, Iowa
Ethel Maude Hood b. 4 May 1889, Madison Co, Iowa
Eva May daughter of Josiah B. EMERY, b. @1820 in Ohio, and his wife Prudence
James and Eva born in Iowa and moved back to Kansas after birth of Ethel. Eva
died 1891 in Kansas, James at Soldiers Home in Dodge City, KS. Soldier's
Home records show his request that they go to the Soldiers' Orphans Home in
Atchison, KS. Frank and Annie were approved for admission by the Court to
the Home, but the Home's records don't show that they ever were there. The
boys were living with a paternal cousin, Della FARNSWORTH LARKINS and family in 1900
in Thayer Co, NE. What happened to these children?
