Intresting to see your posting, I am also looking, as Shemakers were also in the family, George Emery went to the USA as a orphan, aged about 12-14 .
He was born in Great Waltham, Essex, which is just a few miles from Colchesterr, I am still to put up the other info.
I am not sure if it is you I have been contacting some years ago.
