Something else you might find of interest. Jefferson Davis married Pres. Zachary Taylor's daughter Sarah Knox Taylor. The Taylors and Embry's then intermarried. In addition to Jefferson Davis and Pres. Zachary Taylor, this line also has Pres. James Madison who was Pres. Taylor's cousin.
