Donna, there are so many wonderful stories. How nice to hear yours. It does not coincide with any others I have. That is not surprising as this story has almost universal appeal and recognition. I guess many, many people really wanted to be a part of this story and believed themselves to be in the early part of the last century. I told the story that was in my grandmother's suitcase in my book. I always thought it was an astonishing story and one that deserved to be told, especially my grandmother's part and her family's part in it. They actually interacted with the Astors and felt they were going to be rewarded. The book is available on many Internet book sites. If you do not wish to order on the Internet, I know Barnes and Noble carries it and will order it at their stores if they do not have it. There is also a link on my web site to order from my publisher, Author House. Let me know what you think if you should read it. I love hearing from others about the subject. My web site is http://free.hostdepartment.com/c/carollynncaswell/ or www.carollynncaswell.com, but with the latter there are advertisements. Thanks for your comments. I am keeping a file of people I hear from and will let you know if anyone with a similar story shows up. I do not know where you are from. I am doing several book signings this summer. Some of them are listed on my web site. If you live nearby, I would love to meet you. Carol Lynn Caswell The Story in the Little Brown Suitcase Notify Administrator about this message?
