Seeking info on Mike emrick,also known as Imrich,and emerick who came from pilhov slovakia to work in the cement quarry of alpha portland cement co.in Alpha,NJ around 1898 with his sons,Mike Jr and Peter.Mike Emrick drove a horse drawn ambulance for the cement company and his two sons were dynamiters blasting limestone for the cement. Mike Sr was injured by one of the blasts according to an unconfirmed story and died at that time or shortly thereafter.There are family members still living in the area but are not familiar with the incident.The quarry has been out of business for many years and nobody knows where the company records went. Mike Emrick was my grandfather.His sons,Mike Jr aand Peter have been dead for many years. I knew them as older men but I never met my grandfather since I waas not born until 1931.If any one has ever heard anything about this I would appreciate the info. Thanks Ben emerick
