The Embury families left Limerick Ireland on June 9, 1760 on the ship "Pery" (a two masted schooner). They arrived at "Peck's Slip" in New York City on August 11, 1760.
These Irish emmigrants maintained a close relationship with each other, and seldom married outside the group. Most of them moved into the Camden Valley area about 1770, then during the Revolution, became "Loyalists"
and relocated in the Bay of Quinte area of Ontario, Canada.
Will search more of my records for the "Wilde" surname and post any new findings.
