Hi, I just want to add my 2cents. Our family was told that we originated in Normandy. We were taken captive in the conquest of Normandy by England and ended up in the Coal Mines of Scotland. We endentured to come to the New world, Nova Scotia. When we got here, Father and 1 son stayed in Nova Scotia, one son went to NY and one son went to Georgia. But all Embree research is clogged with neat stories, It is CONNECTING it that is the problem. Thanks, Emily
