My mom is an Embrey, from VA. Tradition has it that the family has been in about the same spot since two brothers immigrated to this country, my grandmother is currently living in Fredericksburg.

There was a Judge Embrey that supposedly worked for years on genealogy and had the family history tied together, he was as best anyone knows, desc from the other immigrant brother. Unfortunately, no one in my family got a copy of this information before his death.

I would love to hear from anyone who has knowledge on this research, or anyone connected to this family.
