hello :)
found some information regarding Joseph Embree for you.

Joseph Embree, born in West Garafraxa Township, Wellington County, Ontario, March 4th 1877, died 1959
Married Charlotte Ann Teidt (died 1926-27)
they had 6 children, Gladys Irene Embree (born in Ontario), Clifford Embree (born in Ontario), Eliza Viola Embree (born in Sask), Mary Robina Embree (born in Sask), Henry Embree (born in Sask), and Ruby Agnes Embree (born at Harris Sask 1917, married John T Anderson of Hanna Alberta)

I'll go back a bit from there... Joseph Embree's parents were Joseph Embree and Agnes McBride.
they had 7 children, the Joseph you are referring to being one of them. Their other 6 children were William Embree (born in Wellington County Ontario, married and lived in "western canada"), Margret J. Embree (born in Wellington County ON, married Daniel Taylor of Grand Valley ON), John Embree (born Wellington County ON march 10 1966, died at Windsor Essex County, ON March 12 1944, buried there. married on May 27 1896 to Jane Ann Eveleigh born april 15 1871, died April 30 1944, daughter of William and Frances.), Mary Ann Embree (born in East Garafraxa Township, Wellington County ON on October 31 1869, married William John McGladdrey of Rockwood ON), Hannah Matilda Embree (born Garafraxa Township, Wellington County, ON May 9 1871, married at Galt, Waterloo County ON Sept 21 1892 to John Alexander Byers of Alma, Wellington County born feb 19 1870 son of Joseph and Elizabeth), Robert Embree (born in Wellington County ON, married "lived out west")

I hope that made sense. Its a lot of information and hard to keep clear.
From there the Joseph Embree that you are referring to's GRANDPARENTS and their children are as follows:

Robert and Lucinda are buried at Birch Grove Cemetary, Little River.), Jane Elizabeth Embree (born in Cumberland County 1821-22 died jun 17 1848, married at River Philip on mar 1 1840 to James Dotten born 1817, died april 1868), Deborah Embree born at Cumberland County. her birth order is not known, her name is given in a may 3 1912 historical essay in the Amherst News and Sentinel.)

I do have some more information, going back a few more generations, which I will add tomorrow. I hope it helps :)

ps, I realize that the date of birth is off, but it looks to match up in most other areas :) hopefully it is the right person :)
