Funeral Services for GEORGE BEENE
GEORGE MILES BEENE, age 63, died Friday morning at his home in Llano. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. H. UHLMAN at the Buttery Funeral Home in Llano. Graveside services were held in the Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, Texas. He was born in Eastland County and he and his wife made their home for the past two years with their son CHARLES BEENE, high school band director. He was a veteran of World War I. In addition to his widow and son, Beene is survived by two brothers, WALTER BEENE of Fort Worth, and J. R. BEENE of Snyder, and a sister Mrs. RUBY DAVIS of Dallas. Pallbearers were C. J. DUEY, GEORGE PECHACOK, EUGENE RUSSELL, MARVIN LEWIS, CLARK TEMPTLETON, and RICHARD MACLIN.

WALTER BEENE
Breckenridge: WALTER BEENE, 74, retired Stephens County farmer and General Dynamics employee, died Tuesday in Stephens Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Funeral will be Wednesday in Melton’s Chapel of Memories with DON MCHAN officiating. Burial will be in Hart Cemetery south of Breckenridge. Mr. Beene was born Oct. 24, 1897 near Ardmore, Oklahoma and moved to Stephens County as a child. He married FOY COOPER Sept. 30, 1921 at Abilene. Survivors include his wife; three sons, MARVIN B. BEENE and ROYCE DEE BEENE, both of Houston, and WARREN L. BEENE of Corpus Christi, and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be J. T. HARRIS, DELMA GENTRY, JACK BROWN, S. D. BROYLES, J. T. SCARLETT and EDWIN HAROLD ROGERS.
