In trying to sort out my MAYFIELD family of Greene County, TN, early 1800's, I am seeking to find more information on Godfrey IMBERS of KY. Mary MAYFIELD married Godfrey IMBERS at Blountville, in Sullivan County, TN, 28 April 1825.
I need to verify that Mary IMBERS, named in several court hearings, was indeed, the widow of Isham MAYFIELD. He is listed as having originally married a Mary SOWARD,in Rutherford County,NC.
