I would love a copy of the Anna Mary obit. I already have the passenger list. I have quite a bit on the McPherson Embers. They descend from Abraham Embers (for some reason, they added an "s" to Ember). I have a picture of "Uncle Abe" with my grandfather, Nathan Gnier Ember when he visited him in Kansas. A cousin there, Mrs. Robert Embers, did a lot of research on the Kansas families I can send you.
Yes, I used to go to the Ember reunions - probably the last one I attended was in 1995 or so. I don't remember. Send me your address and I'll send what I have on the Embers and some pictures. I'm going to LDS center tonight to see what other info I can find on Mettias and I'm going to Lancaster in April to do more extensive research at the courthouse and the Mennonite Historical society there.
