Hello,
I am also researching the Elzey family. My 7th GGrandfather
Christopher Calvert was a neighbor of his and Ralph Barlowe
and George, Richard, and Ann Parker in Accomack County, VA.
Ralph Barlowe was the uncle to George, Richard, and Ann and
transported them to Accoomack in 1646.

John Elzey was employed by Lord Baltimore to induce Accomack
County citizens to leave and move to MD. He held this
position in Accomack for several years.

I am trying to find out if Thomas Elzey of Stafford County, VA was a descendant of John Elzey. He lived in Stafford
Co. during the 1690. Do you know?

Richard A. Colbert
