Did William, Sr have a son John? I am descended from a John, b Frederick County, about 1752. Can you tell us William Sr's children that you have found, with dates? Also, if you know of his brothers and their sons.

I am stalled in my line at John Ellsea (Elsea), 1752-1821, and found a note seeming to indicate that John had brothers Thomas and Lewis, also possibly William. These names are common in this branch, and they were in the right area at the right time (Loudon, Frederick, Clarke, Fairfax counties) so am hoping there may be a connection.

John's children were: Jonathan, William, Elizabeth, Dorcas, Stephen, Samuel, John, Mary, Isaac, Thomas, and Moses.
