I've also got aa Elwood from Ireland William Elwood 1850 census says he was born in Ireland and was 77 years old. He died Oct. 24, 1858 in Liberty Township Adams County Illinois He married Nancy Jane i don't know if Jane is last name or middle.they had 4 children in Highland Ohio. Thomas Elwood 1810, Ann 1814, Henry 1820, jane 1816. Moved to Illinois had Priscilla 1824 Esther 1826 I'm descended from Thomas I would like to find any of William siblings and parents.Where in ieland did they came from.
