Hello Russell,
I am helping a friend.
Ephraim Ellwood born Bluntisham Huntingdon 1810.
Married Mary GALE 1837 Bluntisham.
With son William aged 12 yrs they arrived in Geelong Victoria Australia on the ship Tasman in October 1849.
Ephraim died two months later and is buried in the Geelong Eastern Cemetery -- methodist section.
I have his death cert.
His widow married a John Knight 15th April 1850
Ephraim's birth and marriage are on Familysearch.org.
I also have a copy of the 1841 census. Ephraim is listed as a Boatwright. Elizabeth Gale ? Mary's sister was listed on the census.
Have you any connection to this family as I am hoping to find contact with English ancestors.
Any help would be appreciated.
