William If you read the will carefully you will note it is not a "J", but a mark. In fact the signature line says he signed by his mark. I scanned in my copy and I magnified it and it is clearer. Also, if you have a copy of the probate affidavit signed by the Christys who were the witnesses you will see the reference to signing by his mark. Bob Ellwood
