Browsing through some old messages and saw this one.
J.C. Elwood & Emma J. Allard married 4/15/1880 belong to the William & Jean Stoops Elwood line from western PA. Bill is also a descendant.
Emma was born 1858 and they were married in Toledo Ohio.
Except J. C. Elwood was George C. Elwood born 3/17/1854. His father was David S. Elwood son of George Elwood son of the aforesaid William and Jean. I believe George C. was born born in Westmoreland County PA.
Glad to see you traced your roots to the other side. Our branch has not been able to do so although I believe they also came from Ireland, the northern part.
