All I know about Sir Frederick is pretty much all you know.
The Walter who went to Ireland was the son of my great great
grandfather, Walter Stuart Ellwood whose brother's name was
Frederick Morton Ellwood. Walter Stuart had Walter Eddy and Ernest Morton Ellwood, my great-grandfather. However, I could be wrong as far as these guys being the ones you are talking about because they all used the same names for their kids, their kids and their kids. It is ridiculous! It has been awful trying to put all the right ones together. I haven't been able to find anything out about Walter Eddy, so if he did go to Ireland, that is why I can't find him in the USA. These guys all lived in Aurora, Ill. Frederick Morton is not Sir Frederick who evidently is Richard's father. Frederick M. lost most of his family to cholera in Nebraska in 1882. You do know that there was a Richard, Isaac, Abraham that settled in Connecticut about the same time that Richard, Isaac and Abraham settled in New York, don't you? Isn't this fun?
