I am trying to find any information relating to my gg grandfather ENOCH ELVIDGE who was born in the Southewll area of Nottinghamshire, possibly Ompton, in 1838. Enoch married Betsy Nettleship in East Retford in 1859 and they had 9 children-
George b 1863 Ompton Notts
Charles b 1866 Ompton Notts
John b 1868 Whittington Derbys (my g grandfather)
Sarah Ann b 1871 Whittington Derbys
Elizabeth b 1874 Whittington Derbys
Hannah b 1877 Eckington Derbys
Betsy b 1880 Eckington Derbys
Ruth b 1881 Eckington Derbys
Enoch b 1884 Eckington Derbys
By the time of the 1881 census Enoch and his family were living in Eckington Derbyshire.
Any help would be much appreciated.
