Could anyone provide me with information about my grandfather-Thomas Elvidge who was born around 1895 and as far as I know came from Middlesbrough. His father, also known as Thomas,was a coal merchant in Middlesbrough. My grandfather had a brother called George and an elder sister by the name of Hannah or Anna. Thomas Elvidge married my grandmother, Annie Beatrice Smith on the 14th May 1921 when he was aged 26 and moved to Rochdale in Lancashire. My mother- Gladys Hyde was born on the 18th April 1923 in Rochdale. A short time later my grandfather.Thomas left Rochdale by himself and returned to the family business in Middlesbrough.
If anyone can give me any additional information on what became of my grandfather,his family,and his descendents it would be greatly appreciated.
