I believe the lineage is as follows:

Petrus Elting md. Elizabeth DePuy
child: Sarah b. 4/16/1760 in Shawangunk, NY;
       d. 11/16/1823 in Ruttenbur, NY

John France md. Sarah Elting on 10/10/1794
child:
Elting John b. 6/20/1800 in Shawangunk, NY
       d. 5/12/1872

Elting John France md. Catherine DuBois
child:
Elizabeth b. 6/15/1829 in Shawangunk, NY
       d. 12/27/1908

(Catherine DuBois is daughter of Henry M. DuBois and Elizabeth Deyo)

Elizabeth France married Philip Van Orden and lived in Pine Bush, NY. I am descended from this marriage through Alice, their daughter.
If anyone can confirm, amend, or has more information, please post or e-mail. Also, where are these ancestors buried? Where are the Elting and France houses in Shawangunk?
