Hi, my name is Dana Britton. I am researching my mother's family and need information on her mother (my grandmother), Louise Elswick (aka Cathy Louise or Louise Cathy Elswick per my mother's birth certificate).Louise was born around 1928 in Charleston, West Virginia. Her husband's name was James Lee Moore and their children were:
James Lee Moore, Jr.
Michael Moore
Andy Joe Moore
Barbara Diane Moore (my mother)
Sandy Moore
Judy Moore
Dana Moore
I am not sure of the date of her death as she abandoned my mother and her siblings, but rumor has it, she died around 1974. They lived in Detroit Michigan, but both Louise Elswick (or Elzick as it is spelled on Andy Joe's birth certificate) and James Moore were born and raised in West Virginia. Any information will be helpful because I am stumped. Thank you!
