Thanks for replying to my request for help in finding the roots of our Abraham Elston.
Were Not Joshing ! He arrivived here in the spring of 1873. He lived in Saint John N. B. for about a year. the moved up the Saint John River to a place called Greenwich where he was given a grant of land. He died on Sept. 4, 1823 at 84 yrs. and is buried in St. Paul's Anglican Ch. Yard at Oak Point Kings County N. B. along with his wife Charity who died on Nov. 1, 1830 at 96 yrs. His daughter Elizabeth married William Pitt also a Loyalist from New York who was with the DeLancy's Brigade.Our Abraham Elston is my Wife's fifth great- grandfather. I have his Burial Records and his Petition for his land grant and also a copy of his will. Thanks again Albert Button
