I've hit a wall, locating my mother's paternal ancestors. Her Grandfather, Schuyler Fairbanks Elson (his brothers listed above) was s/o William Henry Elson & Polly Hollister. This from old family bible pages, but I can find no public records of them. I know William Henry died in Dundee MI in 1886, and that Schuyler married Carrie Miranda Ostrander in Dundee MI in Feb 1881, and his brother Osco (or Geo) married Carrie's sister Jennie. I can trace Ostranders, not Elsons. If this family line is familiar to anyone, I'd greatly appreciate more information.
