Sorry I can not be of much help - the only Job I have is a man born about 1744 and he married Mary Tomlinson on the 11th of June 1764 - not sure where as I seem to have not written the place down but it would be around the Whiston area I think. He or a son he named Job later married a Mary ALDRED on 3rd September 1782 at Penrich and they had a son called Thomas baptised 28th March 1791.

So not much help I am afried. Have you obtain the marriage certificate of your Job? as this will give you his father's name etc. also that will give you an address to look at in 1851 when he would possibly be at home with his parents and you would be well on your way.

Have you tried family search and fBMD ?

Regards

dorothy Walker
