I have the following info taken from " Some Decendants of John Culver" by Lorena Martin Spillers published in 1963 ;
There was a Joseph Elsbury in Oglethorpe Co. Ga. , who married Ann Smith on Feb. 9, 1799, who may have been Mary K. (Archer) Culver's grandfather.
