During my research, I have found that Elsberry, Ellsberry,and Elsbury are the same, especially if they are in the area of Ohio, Indiana and Illinois and the mid west. The name can be traced back to Lydia Elsberry and Christopher Walbach in Maryland during the early 1700's.
I suggest that you research different spellings of Elsbury in that area mentioned above. I have a lot of information regarding Elsberry line and would share it with you.
