His twin brother Marcus (Monroe) Elsberry was killed 18 Aug 1884 while he was sleeping, probably in Georgia. No Definitive location has been found. I am curious how you fit into the Elsberry's in Brown County, Texas. My grandfather was Joseph Marion Elsberry, son of William Pentecost Elsberry and Martha Florence Shackelford.
