hi to everyone,i found in the maryland records some information on the elsberry's
cousins from maryland. one was a michael manycousins who mention them in his will.
i have some records coming to me from the
georgia archives who was supposed to have mailed them to me last week, they are the
sons and grandsons/daughters of those who came down from n.c. and maryland. if any of yall who are from these elsberry's would like copies, please let me know. i will send them to you.thank you for the lost links of information on the family, i was missing htem. by the way, i am searching for my ggggrandmother nancy elsberry who lost her husband to indian war or the british in wilkes/franklin county georgia. her son was lindsay elsberry,named for his father???lindsay . after he died nancy went back to her maiden name, changed her son's name to linday to reflect his dad's name and gave him her name for his last name. same thing lydia walbach did in maryland back in the early/middle of the 1700's. if you come across nancy elsberry, pleasele tme know. thanks!connie
