The only information I have on the Elsberry family comes from two sources: 1. "The Washington Ancestry," prepared for Edward Lee McClain, by Charles Arthur Hoppin (printed privately in 1932) and from "Maryland families who Came to NC."
In "The Washington Ancestry," Pamela Husbands is said to have been the wife of John's grandson, John, son of Isaac.
I do not have any actual dates on the births of old John's children, only circas. I do have Catherine Elsberry's marriage bond date - 17 Sep 1791, procurred by John Elsberry, Surry Co., NC. "The Washington Ancestry," gives the names of all of old John's children, except Caroline who married a Hudspeth. It says only "a daughter who married a Hudsepth. I found the name "Caroline," in the "Maryland Families who came to NC." If you have not seen "The Washing Ancestry," it is very informative of the early origins of the Elsberry Family.
