I am attempting to develop a little bit of family history other than just the standard family tree. I am interested in creating a book that I will be able to share with my children and grandchildren about some of the stories and histories of the Elsbury family name.
Any piece of information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
A little bit about myself:
I am the daughter of Mark Elsbury. My grandfather's name is Hugh Duane Elsbury. My g-grandfather was Floyd Elsbury who had a brother that lived to be in his 20s, Johnny. Johnny was a diabetic who was a major Christian follower and did not believe in medicine because God would heal him. Their parents were Joseph and Letta Elsbury. Letta died with my g-grandfather was only 11 years old. Joseph had a brother named Mike who supposably was a bit of a hot-head (so says my grandfather). My grandfather has two brothers: Norman and Richard. Between the three of them, they have managed to keep the Elsbury name going in the Hancock County, Indiana region. 3 boys who also had several children and grandchildren.
